Jeep® Cherokee: Changes for the 2017 Model

The Jeep® 75th anniversary celebration has been going on for some time now. Many changes to the lineup has been made as part of the festivities, and the 2017 Jeep Cherokee is no exception. There will be some noticeable changes from the 2016 Jeep Cherokee, so let us tell you more about this impressive Jeep SUV!

So what are these changes? For one, the addition of high-intensity discharge headlights will become standard on all trims except the base sport, where it remains an optional add-on.

If you select the Jeep Cherokee Latitude, you will also be able to enhance your ride with the 75th anniversary package. This includes power drive seats, a panoramic sunroof, an 8.4-inch touchscreen, a Uconnect infotainment system, tangerine interior accents, bronze exterior accents, and bronze-painted aluminum wheels.

Also available for the 2017 model is the all-new Jeep Cherokee Altitude special edition. This is basically an extension of the Sport trim, though it will have a few modifications. This includes a gloss black exterior trim, tinted windows, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, and gloss black wheels.

As for the Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk, that model has not been forgotten. It will be graced with a remote start system, a power liftgate, a heated steering wheel, a power eight-way driver seat, and ventilated Nappa leather front seats.

Speaking of the Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk, testers recently took it for a spin and gave the vehicle praise for its superb off-road handling. This is partly thanks to the Quadra-Lift air suspension and rear electronic limited-slip differential.
